WordPress Setup Instructions

No coding required—just paste a single line of code and your site is ready to go multilingual.

Step 1 – Log In to Your Dashboard

When you sign up you’ll be taken directly to your Dashboard.

After signup we’ll email you a temporary password. It’s recommended to reset it at this time.

Step 2 – Verify Domain & Get Your Script

A) From your Dashboard, confirm that your domain name is listed correctly. If it’s not, add or edit it now and click Save.

B) Copy your unique code snippet to your clipboard.

Step 3 – Install Your Script

  • Open Your WordPress Admin Panel

    • Navigate to Appearance → Theme File Editor (or use your preferred header injection plugin — see below).

    • In the right sidebar, select header.php under your active theme.

  • Paste the Script Before </head>

    • Scroll down to find the </head> tag.

    • Paste your Web Linguist script just above it.

  • Save Changes

    • Click “Update File” to save your changes.

    • Done! Your site is now ready for automatic translation.

⚡ Need an Alternative Option?

If editing theme files feels too difficult, use one of these free plugins:

  • Insert Headers and Footers (by WPBeginner)

  • Header Footer Code Manager (by 99robots)

Once installed, paste your script in the “Header” section, and save.

💡 Best Practices

  • ✅ Make sure caching plugins (like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache) are cleared after install.

  • 🌍 Customize the look and feel of your Launcher from your Web Linguist dashboard.
